中国城市规划学会与苏州科技大学继续联合主办第四届水网地区城乡发展与规划国际会议（2024），以“魅力城乡：水网地区的传统与创新”为主题，旨在以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为指导，围绕水网地区城乡发展的历史文化与现实问题，探索通过传统智慧与科技创新的融合，让历史悠久的水网地区城乡发展以崭新姿态彰显现代魅力。热烈欢迎国内外相关领域的专家、学者、政府企事业代表及高校师生参加本次会议，期待与学界、业界同仁的深入探讨和交流，共同为水网地区魅力城乡发展与规划贡献智慧和力量。让我们携手前行，在保护中发展，在发展中传承，推动国家水网安全、绿色、智慧高质量统筹融合，共同缔造一个更加和谐、美丽、充满活力的未来。

The 4th International Conference on Urban and Rural Development and Planning in Water Network Areas (2024) will be co-hosted by the Urban Planning Society of China and Suzhou University of Science and Technology, with the theme of “Charming Urban and Rural Area: Tradition and Innovation in Water Network Areas”.   Guided by Xi Jinping’s thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, this conference aims to explore the integration of traditional wisdom and scientific and technological innovation through the historical, cultural and practical issues of urban and rural development in the water network area, so that the urban and rural development with a long history in the area can showcase the modern charm with a fresh perspective.

We warmly welcome experts and scholars from home and abroad, government representatives, industry professionals and teachers and students of universities to participate. We look forward to in-depth discussions and exchanges with colleagues from academia and industry, contributing our collective wisdom and strength to the development and planning of charming urban and rural area in the water network area. Let us work together to develop in protection and inheritance in development, and promote the integration of safe, green, smart and high-quality national water network, so as to jointly create a more harmonious, beautiful and vibrant future.

本次会议以“魅力城乡：水网地区的传统与创新”为主题，设主旨报告、平行会议、青年论坛、学术考察等环节。

Ⅰ Conference theme

With the theme of “Charming Urban and Rural Area: Tradition and Innovation in the water network areas”, the conference will set up keynote speeches, parallel sessions, youth forum, academic visits.

Key topics include, but are not limited to:

1. The culture and value of charming urban and rural area in the water network areas.

2. The Protection and renewal of charming urban and rural area in the water network areas.

3. The ecology and security of charming urban and rural area in the water network areas.

4. The wisdom and innovation of charming urban and rural area in water network areas.

六、青年论坛报告相关事项

为促进青年规划师及高校学生开展相关领域学术交流，本次会议特设青年规划师和学生为参与主体的青年论坛，形式分为会议宣讲和墙报展示。会议组委会将组织专家对投稿进行评审，确保公平与公正。根据评审结果，组委会将确定宣讲和墙报的入选名单，并及时通知投稿人。其中，会议宣讲人须及时回复组委会是否参会宣讲（宣讲时间10分钟），并按时间要求提前提交宣讲PPT至会议官方邮箱；入选会议墙报的投稿人，须根据组委会提供的模板，采用图文并茂的方式，完成墙报制作，并按时间要求提交至会议官方邮箱。组委会将根据墙报综合质量组织第二轮评审，最终确定入选名单。

VI. Youth Forums Report Information

In order to promote academic exchanges between young planners and university students in related fields,the conference will set up the Youth Forum primarily for young planners and students.The Youth Forum will include conference presentations and poster exhibitions.

The organizing committee will organize experts to review submissions, ensuring fairness and impartiality. Based on the review results, the organizing committee will finalize the list of selected presentations and posters and notify the contributors promptly.

For conference presentations, selected presenters must promptly respond to the organizing committee regarding their participation (presentation time: 10 minutes) and submit their presentation PPTs to the official conference email address in advance according to the specified time.

For poster exhibitions, selected contributors must use a template provided by the organizing committee to create informative posters with both text and images and submit them to the official conference email address by the deadline.

The organizing committee will conduct a second round of review based on the overall quality of the posters, ultimately selecting the final list of accepted submissions.

Finalists for conference presentations and poster exhibitions will receive a waiver of the conference registration fee and will be awarded certificates.

八、会议注册

欢迎国内外城乡规划建设及相关领域的专业人士积极参会。会议注册费 1500元/人，高校学生800元/人，注册截止日期后现场报名的注册费统一为1800元/人。会议主办方推荐酒店，参会人员自行预订，住宿费用自理。

· 报名方式：扫描下方二维码，填写信息报名注册，（缴纳注册费，注册方为成功）。

· 发票开具：请在注册报名时提供发票单位、纳税人识别号、电子发票接收邮箱等相关信息。

VIII  Conference registration

Both domestic and foreign professionals in urban and rural planning and related fields are welcome to attend this conference. The registration fee for the conference is RMB 1500RMB/person, college students 800 yuan/person, the registration fee for on-site registration after the registration deadline is 1800 yuan/person.

The hotel is recommended by the conference organizer. Participants book the hotel by themselves and pay their own accommodation expenses.
